Here are some photos of a system installed at MADEC Mildura.
MADEC is a training organisation and has training facilities over most of Victoria.
As can be seen, they have a couple of beds for floating raft as well as the beds for regular gravel media based system.
The system is CHOP although they have added extra pumps to deal with the return water from the floating rafts. The outflow from the fish tank is gravity.
David has done some innovative things re the water return from the grow beds.

It must get cold out there. I wonder if adding all that foam insulation around the fish tank gives you any added benefit?
