WTB(Bris) - aquaponics gear

Hi all -

Looking for tanks, growbeds and media etc to get started!

Was thinking of 2000-3000L tank and associated growbeds but will consider anything - either complete set-ups or parts/components.

Let me know what you have and how much you want for it.

I'm on the northside of brisbane but will travel within reason.

Hi John - yes, I'm aware of Murray's gear -
I should have added "second hand/used" to my original post.
Although Murray's gear looks great my budget at this stage doesn't quite stretch that far.

i have two bathtubs that you can have for $20. they are at west end. steel, oone in blue and one in white, Good place to start with the addition of an IBC

I've got 6 grow beds (3 sets of 2 - as seen in the photos - http://www.aquaponics.net.au/forum/showthread.php?t=883) located at Highgate Hill (inner Brisbane) They measure 2300mm X 540 X 240 deep. I've run out of space to install them! $40.

ha ha - yeh - nice gear but with a lot of other stuff happening (house renos etc) the idea of spending several k on aquaponics gear at this stage is simply not do-able.

Anyway, have sourced a fibreglass 1200L round aquaculture tank with a window for $15 - and 2 baths and the 6 crab trays so that should get me going.

Now just need to find the time....
