Yeh... the kids wanted yabbies in the little blue barrel system, 7 of them did alright in summer, we had good growth, but we're down to four and I don't think four yabs are doing enough, especially now the water is cold, they're just not eating as much, I'm only feeding them broken pellets every third day now and sometimes there's still some left in the bottom of the tank the next day.
I'm gonna chuck my 4 shubunkins in in the system... but "Shubunkins4me" just doesn't have the same ring to it!

Yep... If I had a dozen or more, that would've been their fate, but 4 aint worth the effort.

A nice ontrey
Not yabbie tails... even better, big, sweet, Carnarvon Banana prawns in a light, crispy batter!... :broc1::carrot:
All gonna be washed down with a Peroni or three!... :p
Sorry guys... couldn't help myself! :D
Cheers, Yabbies.

Your prawns look to oily
Well it's a good thing you didn't have to eat them then eh! :D
They were closely followed by some Dhuie... check out how moist and tasty the Dhuie was... you'll have to take my word for it on the tasty bit... but it was!
For those unfortunate enough to reside East of the border... Dhuie, or Westralian Dhu fish is without question the second tastiest fish on the planet!...
up to $70kg... if you have to pay for it.
but sooo moist and juicy and tasty... Mmmmmmmm! :p
That's probably too oily for you as well eh Mark... all the more for me! :D
P.S. If you know what you're doing, have clean oil, and at the right temp, it's not too oily at all... does the paper towel look like it's sopping with oil underneath the fish?... smart arse!
Plus, the Peroni's help with that! drinkanim
