Help!
My seedlings have generaly been doing well, then in the last week, all my beetroot seedlings just started to wither and fall over. Now some of the other seedlings are doing the same, they have all gone thin and dried up looking just where they go into the vermiculite. I made sure I did not over water, been using water from my system for three weeks, so nutrients would not be high.

Is the media getting too wet. And is there air flow where the seedlings are.

Sounds like a bit of the old stem rot....

Duff, only been watering every 3 to 4 days, as the pierlite keeps the moisture in very well, plenty of air flow.

Murray, thats what I thought too, any suggestions to combat it? Can I reuse the media or should I toss it?

I grow my seedlings in this arrangement in individual little net pots, in vermiculite. Fresh vermiculite every time.
