System started as dual BYAP "Courtyard" systems, 1000L tank and 500L growbed, as part of a replicated experiment to determine plant growth at differing pH values...

But was consolidated into an "Entertainer" system... 1000L tank and 2 x 500L growbeds with 50 Silver Perch...

Hi RupertofOZ - your AP system looks very neat and tidy with fantastic vegetable growth. Are you only using expanded clay in your grow beds? What size were your Silvers when they went into your fish tank? Regards - ColinW

Yep Colin, just clay balls...

Silvers were about 100mm when they went in the tank. This batch was brought back down from the North Coast after one of my workshops... about Xmas time.

Silvers are now about 250-300mm and along with the growbeds, have been moved into the "hydro-mega" system to make room for the trout system.
