Hello, My name is David. I've been gardening most of my life. I've always raised at least a few veggies, where ever I've lived, even if it was only a tomato or two in a flower bed.
In my earlier days, I had fresh water aquariums. So I have a basic idea in that area.
A few years ago, I met a guy where I was working. He kept talking about wanting to raise tomatoes in a green house and raise prawns. He kept saying how he would circulate the water between the two. Everyone else, thought he 'was out there somewhere'...:) I thought it sounded pretty cool.
Some months back, I finally started reading what I could find on aquaponics. Eventually, I stumbled across a different forum and signed up there.
I was blessed by a fellow aquaponic guy and his wife. They gave me their starter system. THANKS STUCCO....:D
I'm addicted....I've already added to that. In fact, the FT they gave me, is now part of my sump set up. I'll try to start a post, with some pictures and some basic info on what I've got set up so far.
