Beneficial Bacteria

I am in Western Australia and have seen for sale "Vial of Beneficial Bacteria" from the Backyard Aquaponics site. Would this be of any benefit in cycling a new system?

I cycled my system without adding anything,no benificial bacteria & no peeing in a bottle, within 4-6 weeks.

Personally, I think you would be wasting your money

I would just let mother nature do it in her time,but that's only my opinion If you want, give it a go, but I wouldn't worry about it.

I believe you can add your plants straight away, its just the fish that need to wait
