Well, very new to Aquaponics....I had always wondered about this ability however.

I have done some reading, and my fiance agreed to build our first system (or buy one, not sure yet, as we're renting and don't want to upset the landlord with huge tanks etc....so yes, recommendations are accepted.) after our wedding on Oct. 2nd!

We're both pretty excited about this.

I am a computer geek for a living, and I also really enjoy reading and implementing different types of renewable energy. My plan is to run my first aquaponics system on a "grid tie" system (really, off-grid, with the ability to charge the batteries from the grid later on).

You will see me on here reading a lot, and asking questions. I hope no one gets annoyed with me.

What the wife and I have told ourselves is we need a plan before we buy the system. So if any of you can PM me or something, with any reading materials they found useful, or even mistakes you may have made while starting up that would be great!!!
