Sorry about that Peter,
The worst is over mate, after all it can't get any worse than smashing your favorite beer tanker can it?
Cheers.

******. Just remember mate, things can never be as bad as working at you know where!
(Pete and I worked together at the most woeful place I have ever come across. the only positive thing is that Pete introduced me to AP!)
And I was sad about losing a handfull of fingerlings

I almost had a seizure when I read what you said BD... up until the point where I realised it was a typo, I thought you meant a tanker... as in a truck full of beerit can't get any worse than smashing your favorite beer tanker

The problem with America is stupidity. I'm not saying there should be a capital punishment for stupidity, but why don't we just take the safety labels off of everything and let the problem solve itself?
Peter, I thought we couldn't grow in-ground veges? How are you growing carrots? Thats so awesome!
Hi Livinontop,
I have had some luck with baby carrots which are great in salads. I think being a shorter variety helps them in the AP growbed. I have seen some short almost round carrots on the diggers club website, and I thought I might try those next.
Your Silver Laced Wyndotte?
Jesus.
Bluegill....what?
This was my Silver Laced Wyandotte. I bought two a month ago. One got tangled in a garden hose and died of stress, the other was pecked to within an inch of her life by the other chickens and died of her wounds on Sunday.
I have now learned not to mix pullets with adult chickens.
Hi Guys,
My AP area was getting a bit cluttered so I knocked up a potting bench. I was inspired by a library book "Weekend Woodworking for the Garden" by Cindy Burda. I'm not much of a handyman and I made some mistakes but I'm pretty pleased with the result. I decided to make it bigger so I had to add additional bracing.
