I must have missed that post last year Murray. That's a great looking tank with windows. Which school did it go to? If it's near my place in Palmwoods, I might be tempted to apply for a teaching job there. Forget about teaching English or Indonesian, I would be happy to teach Aquaponics at a school that has a tank like that!

    Hi Dave,
A State High on the Peninsula. I will be going up there in a few days to make a service call. I will get a few pix and post. The garden should be coming along nicely by now.

We delivered another windowed Homestead Kit yesterday to a client near the Somerset Dam.

And later this week we will ship another windowed Homestead (educational version) to a private school in Cairns.

Straight after that, one to the land of the long white cloud.

Now that we have taken back our own manufacturing we are able to get the kits out much faster which is great.

I was wondering if there was anyone in the states (perferably western part of the US) that builds similar systems for sale? Murray makes a great product but shipping from AUS would cost and arm and a leg; if it were even possible.

    Anyone? Thanks

We do / have shipped to the US. It is easy at my end, but the Customs etc at your end is not so easy and they charge about 1200.00 in fees to do Customs clearance and release the goods.

Thanks Murray, I'll have to look into those port/custom fees.

    Murray,

Have you thought about licensing someone in the US to make your kits? It would kinda make sense.

Yes we have Denandbill but not found the right person as yet.
Actually it is not all that bad re importing to Long Beach CA because on the export price there is no GST (goods and services tax) and there are some other savings on our end like export incentive allowance, so the kits arrive and can get cleared at LA for no more than it would be if we sent the same kit to Sydney or Melbourne.
The drawback is the shipping time, it is about 6 weeks.

    Awesome tanks Murray,

My kids would love to sit and watch fish at their own level instead of inside a sump tank.

Those kids are gong to learn a lot or real education.

    Keep it coming.
