Bass - Lateral Line?

I have noticed on my little bass a fairly obvious lateral line.
Looking around at some pics on the net it seems that some have an obvious line and others don't.
Is this something I should be concerned about?
The fish are growing and eating well (4 months the larger ones grew from 20-110mm)
Their diet is live shrimp yabbies and small fish.
They get this once per day on average.
Anyone else keeping bass, please post experiences.

What kind of Bass are these?

They'd be Australian Bass Moe.... and they do have a more distinct lateral line than other species.... especially when smaller...
