i did put a 12" fan (table top type) above the ft.....it took 1C off the water temp.

Just looked at my water temp 27 deg cel.
I can see the trout swimming around, although slowly, at the bottom of the tank.

I think I might be pushing it now.
    Will harvest shortly.

    cheers Lou

    No Rain here yet
hope it comes because today was rather warm.

The trout have plenty of air and I think they might hit the barby
    plate tomorrow.

Yep... no feeding.... and they're probably only good for a couple of days at that temp...

If you have rain coming... followed by a couple of cooler nights...

Drop your tank down by 70% as it starts to rain.... ice it... and refill.....

Should (if you get a couple of cool nights).... bring it back to about 20-22...

I still have trout - dam lot of work to keep em in the heat though

Water temp got to 25.9 at the hottest - lucky no more than 2 days in a row

I have squillions of air, turn off GB in the day (and dump that supa heated water) and ice - would add maybe 30 litres a day - in 2 stages.....
Harvested a stunning amount of fresh vegies since 2008
Harvested 480 rainbow trout to date

Harvested 20 Barramundi to date (hard in Adelaide)

If the siphon will not start there is not enough water flow.....if it will not stop there is too much.
