    Default ich and plants??

so this is mostly just a theoretical question about ich with plants.. is anyone "sciency" enough to tell me about the affects of ich on plants? i dont have an ich problem at the moment but i was just wondering if the ich is present can the plants still be eaten? obviously not if chemical ich treatment is used but im talking about just ich in general once its in the water its on the plants.... can and should they be eaten or just compost??

Ich is a parasite and requires a host... I don't think it could actually attach to a plant...

It is present in water... but standard procedures of washing your vegetables should alleviate any concerns...

Unless the water you wash them in has "Ich" present...
