Gee Dave we had a "haus meri" who came in every day to help when we lived in Port Moresby and I can assure you she was nothing like yours...... I was under the impression you were doing it tough Dave, low wages, long hours, thousands of miles from home missing family all those inspiring union meetings !!!!

Thumbs up A calendar? But will you be on everybody's back?

The backs of the T-shirts for the Orlando Conference will have the proposed slogan for the association: ‘There’s something fishy growing on!’.

I'll be famous! I'm so flattered!

    Maybe I should attend.

Huh? Union meetings? The last union meeting I attended was the W.A. Teacher's Union back in 1984 when the sandgropers were still "Backing Brian Burke" who turned out to be a crook just like his little mate Bondy.

Yes, we had a haus meri in Moresby too. She was a real gem. Left the house spotless, and looked after the baby when we went out shopping at Steamships or Boroko Foodworld (There was always a chance you would never come home)

"Doing it tough" ? Ha ha! In Brunei? No one does it tough here. Tax free. Three classes and I teach in a girl's school ... the students are absolute angels.

The Aussie dollar is a bit of a worry though, makes it expensive to send money home.

The Orlando Aquaponics Association Conference is less than 6 weeks away

Those who are thinking of attending would do well to book ASAP.

I will be flying out on the 15th to Orlando. I think there are a few other Aussies attending.
Members from the USA and Canada....it is a "must do"

It will be a great conference See details here

Murray, I would LOVE to go to the convention in Florida. I would LOVE to shake your hand, and buy you an ice cold one!!
However our TSA has soured my travel plans. I refuse to have my give up a piece of MY liberty for a bit of presumed safety. Maybe next year it'll be in driving range!! California is a loooong way from Florida!!
    Have fun tho,
    Steve
