Proper fish to grow bed ratio.

This one has been bugging me for weeks, the more google serching I do the more confuesd I become. Sources I have read have varied greatly form .4 oz fish per sq ft of grow bed (100gr per m sq) to 3 lbs per sq ft (1363 gr m sq)! There is no way that these systems are so versitle that they could function in their ideal range with that much difference in fish mass. Have there been any reliable studies to anwser that question?

I read the article on fish density, but it did not cover the ratios of fish to DWC grow bed area. Only the proper density in the fish tank itself. BTW Murray do you ever do siminars in the US? I would LOVE to attend one. You are my hero Of all the dozens of videos and websites I have studied over the past four months your video series has been by far the most informative.
