    I think it's a smart thing for all AP folks to do prior to adding fish to their systems. It's a little extra work, but "an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure."

    i swear by the saltdip as well, but have found that if the fish are in bad shape already they have a hard time surviving, trial and error one dead fish is better than losing all of them
