    Default Rain and Aquaponics

With all the rain lately all my lettace was flattened but suprisingly thats the only damage i sustained.

My entire backyard flooded again today and the water just glided under the growbeds and system. My in ground vegetables however were inundated and half the soil washed away. Heres a pic of a few months ago 2012, ive expanded the system again since then however it will give you an idea why aquaponics works for my backyard. (i havent taken any pics today- its raining too much)

1000 Lt IBC Silver Perch tank (65 fingerlings)
1000 Lt IBC Rainbow Trout tank (100 fingerlings)

We've had some torrential rain but no floods like yours. Plants get knocked about but a few days later they are as happy as Larry.
