Hope someone can help identify and correct some plant problems. After reading for a while I thought this would be iron deficiency and or Potassium deficiency. Added iron chelate and Potassium Carbonate, but does not seem to have made a difference. My PH is about 8 so maybe Lockout? System is only a few weeks old so I understand the need to be patient but just worried this might be a fungus. I have a 1200 Liter FT and just stocked with 50 crappie. Any suggestions? See Pics.
Correction on the Potassium Carbonate....I mixed some and sprayed it on leaves hoping not to raise PH. Just added some maxicrop per suggestion. Do you add some iron to each growbed or to whole system? What is a good rule on amount of iron? Right now I am feeding the crappie minnows per suggestion of Fish guy I bought them from. Also picked up some fish food from agriculture shop that is multi speciman. Any suggestions on the food (USA)?
silvercup or aquamax (purina) game fish food..
you may need to work at feed training your crappie..
try hydrating the feed (mix with water, about 1/4 cup water to 1/2 cup fish food) in a baggie, let sit in the fridge overnight and flip the baggie every now and then, give the pellets a light squeeze before feeding and they'll sink.. gradually add dry pellets over a couple weeks
good luck!
