Hello from Seattle!

Hello all,

I live in a condo in Seattle, Wa. I got interested in aquaponics by reading a post on another forum, which got me very interested in the idea of aquaponics. I life the fact that it's all self contained and reduces the load on our wallets and on the environment.

Right now, I feel as if I have more questions than answers. Since I live in a condo, I currently do not have the ability to do anything extremely complicated, but that's where I eventually want to go. Right now, I'm focused on getting the basics down and then, after a month or so, I plan to create a very simple system. At some point, is like to get a house, build a green house, and then embark on an aquaponics adventure that's a bit more exciting!

Griffers, Hi I am new to aquaponics and also live in Seattle. Just building a 300 gal. system in my basement for now to "test the waters" over the winter. Plan for a bigger outdoor system in the spring. Michael in Seattle
