Sure is good, is that number 1 or are there more?
I've got 3, and that's enough. They cause you to go grey, but count the laughs!

We've got two.. And that's enough for us!!
I agree about the grey part, but totally worth it!!

I am at a dead end in sourcing some materials.

Does anyone know (apart from the recycling centres) anywhere to get IBC's/Bathtubs/Blue Barrels in SEQ?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

    Hi SS Bob
I utilise lots of bathtubs in my system many sourced from our local tip shop but one place that I picked up 6 composite type baths was from our local plumbing shop that had orders that were damaged or in one case had the plug hole in the wrong position, all were in good condition and obtained for 3 cartoons of 4x gold poison. Perhaps you may be lucky trying your plumbing shop and also local plumbers

    Bill and DesertRat,

Thanks so much for the info. I will also hit up the plumbing stores when I get a chance. Since I first started this thread I've been so busy to do anything about gathering unto me the bits I need. I'll get there though!!

I've nearly finished my wicking bed greenhouse so I think I'll knock that over this weekend and get some plants in so that I am not fighting a battle on two fronts with trying to get ALL of it together in one hit. If anyone is interested I can post some photos of the wicking beds? I know this is the AP forum but there does seem to be a fair bit of interest in the WB concept.

I have reinstated my pilot AP setup so I can refill my one wee bathtub full of herbs... Anyhoo, enough of my train of thought nonsense.

Thank you to all you who have passed on info and a big cheers for all our kids!!

    Cheers,

    Sideshow

I'd be very interested to see your wicking beds, Bob, and how they've been constructed. There's a wicking bed thread somewhere . . .

Many thanks for that, Murray. This is probably a very dumb question, but sometimes the search box doesn't work all that well. Is there a sitemap somewhere on the forum that shows all the threads at once?
