Default Home made HYDRO system

I was out the back of Boonah delivering a new Maximus Kit yesterday and the client has a Hydro system made out of the good old blue barrels. It operates on a timer running for a half an hour twice a day.

The nutrients are, Seasol and Powerfeed.
The grow media is Perlite.

Successfully growing Broccoli, Tomatoes and Coriander, plus a few lettuce and so on. What a great little system. Goes to show just how simple it can be.

In the photo, take a look at the Coriander plant...what a beauty.

How simple is that.

The plants in the Hydro look lovely & green Murray,

Most hydro nutrients are meely mixes of urea and trace elements...

And the original formulations were strictly measured chemical compounds to provide the basic trace element and major element (nitrogen, calcium etc) needs...

I've successfully used Maxicrop/Seasol... some worm tea.... and seawater...

Yet, there are some out there that keep telling us how hard all this is. You have to be in the top 2 percentile and read a couple of very expensive books to even begin to understand...

Easiest gardening I have ever done !!! And I grow fish in my garden !!! best garden I have ever had.
