Just pulled out the snow peas. Had a good continuing harvest from them for a good few weeks.
As usual, when pulling them out we found worms busy doing their work. I left the old roots in the grow bed. The worms will process these in time and release the nutrients back into the system.

Second photo is of the new smaller pawpaw tree which is doing well. Now that spring is here the tree will take on some speed in growth.
I decided to remove one of the Taro bushes as it was beginning to impede the pawpaw tree. I am not too sure what use there is in growing the Taro, but it sure looks good.
Photo 3 shows the remains of the Taro plant I removed.
It was a big job getting it out without damaging the pawpaw tree.

Did you end up trying a champagne fruit tree(Babco). The one I have overwintered inside with some paw paws grew while the paw paws were dormant. Just not sure if I'm going to put it in the dirt or the AP.
