This Digital pH meter and monitor sets the standard in low cost digital pH equipment.
This pH tester operates on mains power and has an inbuilt rechargeable battery. This allows you to carry the tester from tank to tank for those who run multiple systems.
The tester can be set up on one tank to give 27/7 read out of pH.
The good part is that the instrument reads form 0 to 14 ph. Using standard pH testing methods it can be the case that the pH has dropped to below 6, but the standard tests only go down to pH 6
Therefore it is very possible to have extremely low pH.
This test instrument will give very accurate readings over a very wide range.
Operation.
Connect the system to mains power.
Un pack the probe carefully by removing the plastic wrapping and finally the screw on sensor protector.
Wash the probe end in clean water.
Adjust the instrument by using a pH standard liquid such as pH 7 or 4 using the small screw driver provided.
Immerse the probe into the tank water. Give the instrument a few minutes to settle down.
Replacement probes are available.
It pays to protect the end of the probe as aggressive fish may bite the end of the probe and render it inoperable.
