The MG 3/800 will be a tough workhorse in the Aquaponics Greenhouse able to move water in big volumes with total reliability.
By using an external pump on the fish tank a plug in float switch is easily mounted on the inside of the tank. The float switch is plugged into the 240 volt power supply and the pump plugged into the piggy back plug of the float switch to provide automatic operation.
The advantage of an external pump system is ease of maintenance should it become necessary, and the opportunity to use the pump to move water for other applications by using a system of ball valves.
