Product Details

You already pump water into your fish tanks.  Why not double the activity of that inlet by using it to add air to the water, as well?  What a great idea!

This neat little fitting is designed to draw air into the water flow, creating a jet of bubbles as the water leaves the fitting.

Each elbow comes with 500 mm (20") of air line that fits onto the air intake, and a fitting for the other end of the line, so you can have the intake opening moved a little away from the fitting, if you like.  You could even attach it to an air pump, to get the bubbles really blasting.

If you've seem Murray Hallam's lettuce carousel, this is the fitting that makes it turn!  The water and air coming out of it create a current inside the tank, causing the carousel to spin.

The water inlet on this fitting is designed to connect to 19 mm (3/4") hose, either directly (in the Barbed version) or via a snap-on socket (in the Snap-on version).

Simply install the fitting in the wall of the fish tank, attach the water hose and start the pump.  Voilà!  Air from your water supply!

Such an easy way to increase aeration to your fish tanks!

Note - the water-line attachment comes in two types:

  • Barbed - where the fitting is permanently attached to the hose with a hose clamp
  • Snap-on - where the fitting and the hose are connected with a snap-on socket (not included with this fitting). The snap-on version has a black o-ring around the water-inlet end.

When adding to your Cart, select which type of attachment you require.
