Murray Hallam INDY 11.5 System - Plans and Instructions REVISED

The Indy 11.5 is the half-size 'little brother' of the Indy 23 system, so it's designed to be a powerhouse of food production for two people.

• 11.5 sqm (~123 sqft) of growing area
• Two media beds, each 2.4 m x 1.2 m (8' x 4')
• One raft bed, 2.4 m x 1.2 m (8' x 4')
• One wicking bed, 2.4 m x 1.2 m (8' x 4')
• Comfortably raise 25 kg (55 Lb) of fish per year
• One fish tank, 1000 L (~260 Gal)

Grow just about any type of plants - the inclusion of media beds, raft bed, and wicking bed lets you grow a huge range of crop types.

This design is the result of nearly a decade of continuing research, trials and actual food production.  As our name 'Practical Aquaponics' implies, we have actually built and successfully run productive Indy systems for years.

Building the Indy 11.5 is fairly straightforward.  Anyone familiar with basic tools and techniques - or willing to have a go! - will be able to build this system.  And the construction uses mostly commonly-available materials, so you don't need a specialist supplier.
