Prac Aqua Iron Chelates EDDHA

Soluble iron chelates (6% Fe) for the control of iron deficiencies in plants.

EDDHA iron also aids in the absorption of other vital elements such as calcium, so it is a necessary supplement to help avoid these deficiencies, too.  For example, if your plants seem calcium deficient but aren't responding to calcium supplements, you might need to add some EDDHA iron as well, to help the plants absorb the calcium.

EDDHA is the only form of iron chelates recommended for aquaponics use.

• It is readily available to plants at the pH level used in an aquaponics system, and therefore very effective. Other types of iron chelates, such as EDTA, are not as bio-available at the pH levels used in aquaponics systems, and therefore less effective.
• It can be added to the water in the aquaponics system, or used as a foliar spray. Other types can be used only as foliar spray.

Note: This product will turn your water a reddish colour. This is not harmful to your fish or plants.
