Product Details

Excellent for use in aquaponics systems.

This thru-tank fitting is elbow shaped and has two fully removable tightening nuts.

One end of the fitting has a 19mm (3/4") male thread to take standard 19mm (3/4") female-threaded fittings; the other end is barbed, to take a 19mm (3/4") flexible hose permanently fastened by a hose clamp.

We use these all the time for water inlets on fish tanks and beds.  A really reliable and durable piece of kit.

If you're installing a 19mm (3/4") water or air line, these fittings are a great idea for passing the line through a wall and for securing it firmly in place.

If running a water line into a fish tank, you can attach a venturi aerator head to add aeration to the water flow.

Running water into a fish tank but worried about fingerlings getting into the plubming?  Attach a strainer!  It's ready-made for just this thread.

This double-nut thru-tank fitting is a really useful addition to your aquaponics-building equipment.  Why not try one today!

NOTE - we currenly only have black ones, not the white ones shown in the images.  But the colour doesn't matter!  They're still every bit as good!

If you want the value of this fitting with the convenience of being able to attach and detach the hose as much as you like, have a look at the one designed to take Qwik Lok (snap-on) fittings!  So easy!
