Product Details

Years of experience in building fibreglass boats has been put to service building fibreglass grow beds and tanks for aquaponics.

Marine-grade fibreglass is a superior material for aquaponcis beds and tanks:

  • Totally food safe
  • Strong
  • Durable
  • Infinitely repairable
  • Easy to drill through to install plumbing fittings, and easy to patch over when you remove them
  • Very robust - hard to damage with gravel or shovels
  • Naturally waterproof, so no need for liner

These beds were designed by Murray Hallam especially for aquaponics!

  • proper depth for media or raft beds, or wicking beds if you want
  • good length for media beds, so you get a quick flood-and-drain cycle
  • comfortable width for working on your plants

They are also light when empty, so are easy to relocate.

These beds will serve you very well for decades!  We are still using some that are well over ten years old.  Still going strong!

Over a 12 year period, we manufactured hundreds of these grow beds and they are still in service around Australia. Due to increasing demand, we decided to make the 585 litre grow bed available again.

If you're investing in aquaponics, these are the beds for you!  Strong, reliable, lasting.  Call for a quote today!

Buy FOUR or more beds together and get a 15% discount!  (That's AUD $719.95 per bed.)  Please contact us to organise.

Note - beds will be packed on a pallet for shipping, so dimensions will vary a little from those shown in the photos.

MADE TO ORDER so it could be several weeks from when you order to when the beds are ready.
