Poly Grow Beds (Tubs or Ponds)

PLEASE NOTE:  These items are oversize for a normal Australia Post Parcel so a freight quote will be needed to your location.

Also, they will be ordered especially for you, so it may take a few weeks for them to be sent.

These vesatile, high quality tubs are a great addition to any aquaponics system.

Useful for

• grow bed - media or raft
• wicking bed
• fish tank - excellent size for fingerlings or hospital/quarantine tank
• header/distribution tank - a great place to install an upside-down float-switch for your backup system
• sump (make sure it's big enough for your system)

Or you could use the boards to mount the bed/tank above a fish tank.  A really convenient place for the plumbing!

If you want to use the bed directly on the ground, find a nice level place for it and lay a stable foundation of packed sand or crusher dust. 

Remember - it's best to grow plants in containers that are kept away from heavy rain.  Otherwise, the nutrients in the bed get washed away.  So, some sort of rain cover is recommended.

If you are using the tub as a sump, you can set it into a hole in the ground, but just remember to weigh it down so it doesn't get popped out of the ground when rain tries to fill the hole.
